Citrus Greening

Citrus Greening is a disease that can be spread quickly by an insect.  Once established, it causes fruit damage and, eventually, the death of the citrus tree. The disease was first found in Florida and has since spread to several states in the Southeast and to Mexico. It remains a threat to Texas and California Citrus industries.  To learn more about this threat to the Rio Grande Valley Citrus industry and how you can help, click on the TEXAS or USDA Citrus Greening Websites.
